Kloie Belle's Birthday
Saturday was Kloie's second birthday!
For those of you who don't know the whole back story, my aunt gave me Kloie on the same day that I had to put my first baby to sleep. While it took me a while to open my heart to this new dog...(I mean, c'mon, give somebody a chance to grieve before you push another dog on them!)... she is my little buddy and I love her to pieces. I guess I just had some sort of loyalty complex and the feeling that I was betraying my first dog's memory by getting another dog so fast!

Anyway, my little spoiled rotten brat's birthday was Saturday and, just like I did with Zoey, I gave her a little cupcake and a new toy to celebrate. She loved them both and it really made me happy to see her so excited.

Jen -Cute pup, I agree, when I lost my first animal my family tried doing the same thing. After awhile the new ones grow warm to you. It just takes time.

Hehehehe.... I think that's too funny about your dog spying the other cupcake! Dogs are so uncomplicated when they want something... unlike people, huh?

Ellen: It is impossible to get anything by her! And for the record, she did get the other cupcake! LOL
See, if you had just shoved the cake in your mouth, the dog would have gone on to the toy... no whining or arguements involved. That's the difference between dogs and kids. But you are such a sweetheart to have given her the cupcake anyway!
She's got my heart wrapped right around her little paw! That's why she's such a brat!
God help my children.....whenever they come along! ;o)
Happy Birthday Kloie! May all your doggie wishes come true. Of course that probably includes sniffing a few crotches and drinking from the toilet but hey, haven't we all wanted that at least once in our life? (snicker). May this be the first of many.
Thanks Twisty! Lucky for me, she doesn't drink out of the toilet - but I wouldn't put it past her! LOL

At least ya got her before the big empty hole without a needy dependent left ya feelin useless.
I need my pets cause it's so empty for me here without them.

Snags: Yeah - it took me a long time to get over losing my first one. Kloie has definitely filled that void for me. I'm glad somebody else out there understands that love for their pets. They're a godsend!
