I tried to singing this to the using the Beatle's melody and it didn't really flow. When I got to the bottom I went back a reread it as poetry.
Don't give up on the magic. You'll find someone who'll put the meaning back into love songs. Not tomorrow or next week, but sometime.
I hope it is "gettin' better all the time." That is all that you can ask.
I was thinking it was the Beatles version too... it was a little confusing for me there for a minute.
